In the past when we were kids then, we were told by our elders ‘Go outside and play’ keeping in mind the health benefits. Now, children are spending increasingly less time playing outdoors.  Research has shown that children who play outdoors regularly are happier, healthier, and stronger. With this the kids and children are getting overweight or obese.

According to research, children who play outdoors regularly:

  1. Become fitter and leaner
  2. Develop stronger immune systems
  3. Have more active imaginations
  4. Have lower stress levels
  5. Play more creatively
  6. Have greater respect for themselves and others
